Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year. As president of the PA, I'm pleased to continue our tradition of an active, volunteer-driven organization whose goal is to enrich the life of NPS by bringing together parents, teachers, and students.

The PA is hosting many exciting events this year, including Fall Festival and Fall into Books, Breakfast with Santa, Hot Lunch Hoopla.

In addition, as part of the PEER speaker series, the PA will host several guest speakers throughout the year who will address a variety of parenting issues. The PA will also sponsor several Teacher Appreciation Lunches and the Faculty Gift Fund.

I urge all parents to get involved. Volunteering your time and talent is not only a great way to help the school, but is also a great way to teach your children about the importance of giving back to their community. I'm looking forward to a great year!
